Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
Guest post by Homer Nielsen
Going to the aquarium with the whole family can seem like a lot of work but in the end it turns out to be an adventure of fun and learning! Normally when we go to an aquarium we like to visit the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium because it's a zoo and an aquarium packed in one location. The prices are good and the exhibits are pretty interesting, clean, educational, but best of all fun. Before we all pack into our twelve passenger van we make sure we lock up the house and set our home security alarm (Home Security Systems online offer). The drive is almost two hours long so we also pack plenty of drinks and entertainment. All the real fun starts when we get to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium! There we can detour right to the aquarium where we first can see a variety of beautiful, colorful, rare fish swimming in giant lighted tanks. The best part is the touch and feel area. In this area kids and adults are allowed to touch a variety of sea creatures such as starfish. When you stop by here don't forget to check out the rare and majestic manatees!
